Riot of the Flesh

Riot of the Flesh Holden Shearer always ensures a mark of quality to the proceedings, and it's a delight to see his work in the Vault. Fomori was always one of the more intriguing parts of the Werewolf universe to me, and Riot of the Flesh offers what's on the tin - alongside ambient creepiness in and fridge horror as one considers just what goes into, say, the cambion life-cycle. Holden Shearer provides an excellent view into the lifestyles of the damned and mutated, and the expanded rules for fomori creation are hugely welcome....

Rio de Janeiro by Night

Rio de Janeiro by Night Rio de Janeiro by Night is an amazing setting book. The quality of the work rivals or surpasses the original by night books published in the 1990s. The book provided detailed History and Geology of the area. There were extensive NPC presented. Coterie charts which showed the character relationships were included. There are lots of parts of this book that were amazing, though we personally liked the section on Other Monsters as every character included in that section was especially intriguing. The Tabletop Gaming Club strongly recommends that every storyteller and player alike get a copy of this book for their library. Hands down this is one of the best Vault products to date. ...

he-requiem-2nd-ed-guide-to-the-night-oder-was-machen-vampire-

Of Blood and Bays Of Blood and bays could have easily be called Chesapeake by Night. The book details the areas around the Chesapeake and Delware bay and the Kindred that inhabit the area. The material in the book is interesting espeically the section about the dangers of traveling the waters of the area. The book does suffer a little from layout errors with blank pages and missing titles but overall the product is pretty solid. The Tabletop gaming club recommends this book to all VTM storytellers.... it was a welcome addition to our library...

Modern Cappadocians For fans of the Cappadocians this is a must have book. The book does a excellent job of describing what the Cappadoicians would be like in modern time if the Giovanni had failed to wipe them out. It contains character creation notes, templates, and details on three Cappodocians of note. The Tabletop Gaming club recommends this product to anyone wanting to explore an alternate timeline for the WOD.

Legion: Backgrounds Expanded and Inspired Legion: Backgrounds Expanded and Inspired does exacty what the title implies. Many of the backgrounds original presented in the core book are expanded upon or redesigned. For many of the backgrounds suggestions on how the background could help shape a character or even a campaign are given. Overall the book is very well done. The work of generation was pretty extensive, breaking the background into two seperate backgrounds refinement and generation. This rework also leads to the rework of thin-blooded vampires and caitiffs which is interesting, even though the majority of our group didn't actually care for it as the changes were pretty drastic. Overall the product is excellent. Old school players might have make up their own mind about the version of generation presented in the book. The Tabletop Gaming club does recommend this book for those looking for more depth to their backgrounds. ...

Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition
by Matthew D.
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing
Date Added: 01/08/2019 03:14:52
Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition This book has a lot of good and the bad in my opinion. It repeats a lot of the same stuff over and over and over and over again. The Fluff section could easily either be cut in half or incorporate actual new information. It was nice to see the Disparates in the main book, but having all those groups aligned didn't make a lot of sense. The fluff of this book, while containing some really good info overall, has been horribly mismanaged. The Sphere Rank rules seem sometimes to move some stuff just simply for the sake of moving them. A lot of that fluff could have been replaced with a bigger and better setup of what the Spheres can and cannot do. The How Do You Do That book would have been pretty unnecessary then, since that tome is also very repetitive in material. All in all, I enjoyed the book, as a I like some of the old fluff. But honestly, unless you really care about the Disparates in your game, just get a previous edition. This book is largely unnecessary....

M20 How Do You DO That? Very good in a lot of areas. Very helpful. But also contradicts things from the main rule book. if you are new to mage, I recommend getting this highly, if you are however familiar with mage and/or previous editions, this book is worth it but you can pass if you are low on funds.
