Mirrors: Gabriel's Horn

Mirrors: Gabriel's Horn Mirrors: Gabriel's Horn introduces us to a alternative setting for Chronicles of Darkness. The realm of Gabriel's horn is a prison for mortals whose sins are so great that darkness claims them, trapping them in a dark reflection of the world. The book provides alternate character creation rules, along with rules for spirts, ghosts, and the sins that make up rest of the realm. The Tabletop Gaming club loved the setting presented in this book. A skilled storyteller can use this setting to bring out the psychological horror of realizing your trapped... you're friends aren't your friends but mere manifestions of the realm... We strongly recommend this book....

Sorcerous Ways: Mystic Martial Arts Sorcerous Ways Mystic Martial Arts introduces some new charms that combine sorcery with martial arts, that can be used by exalted or mortal (if the moral has the appropiate merit). The book focuses on the Empty Mind Style of martial arts, and presents charms/spells associated with this mystic martial art. The Tabletop Gaming club found most of the concepts interesting. With a little work this concept could be expanded upon. For the price, we recommend this product.

OneShot - Rettet der Hambacher Forst
by Moritz V.

Hundred Devils Night Parade: Mouse of the Sun and Rantai

Hundred Devils Night Parade: Mouse of the Sun and Rantai These PDfS are simply too expensive. They are supposed to be collected into a book in the end, but when you use some basic maths, you realise that the price for all of them is as much as a nicely printed book (at current, and the book is not even done by far, as far as I know), which is simply a lot of money when it is not a phycial book. However, one of my players needed the mouse for the campaign I am running, so I bought this particular one (and sure, I like it a lot). Since I like it a lot, I am rating it at 3, due to the price. A good product, but a bit pricey....

Dying in Your Sleep

Dying in Your Sleep Dying in Your Sleep introduces us to a new Key and seven new manifestations associated with it. The book focuses on the theme of sleeping and dreaming which we found to be an interesting ascept to explore. There is also a section on crossing over with Changeling the Lost, which might make for interesting storytelling. The Tabletop Gaming Club enjoyed the flavor of this product very much. We found that the powers presented in this book make for fantanstic storytelling when the campaign is written in such a way to make them shine. Definetely, can run some Nightmare on Elm street feeling games using these manifestations. We recommend this book....

Devotion to Power Devotion to Power provides us with over 60 Devotions that are either new or updated from older sources. The Devotions presented can easily be used in most Requiem games. The Tabletop Gaming Club used quite a few of the common and uncommon devotions presented in this book in their campaigns. Most of them we found ingrated seemlessly into the game and quite a few we found to fun and/or innovative. We recommend this book for all Requiem players.

Sorcerers Crusade Companion
by Charles S.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 05/28/2019 15:01:24
Sorcerers Crusade Companion This is the weakest book in the Sorcerer's Crusade line, in many ways. Much of it is devoted to general knowledge about the Renaissance. Unfortunately, much of this is factually incorrect, long-debunked claims, for instance, a failure to understand that a Life Expectancy at Birth that's low doesn't mean that most people who grow to adulthood don't make it to 40 (factoring out child and infant mortality, the number for aristocrats in England hits about 70 during this time period, which suggests that even peasants can expect to see their late 40s or 50s if they make it to adulthood). There was also a tendency to treat Europe as a coherent whole, rather than a mess of conflicting norms from different groups. Venice and London in 1500 are wildly different places, as is Seville, and Byzantium in 1452 and 1454 were nearly unrecognizable to one another (the Ottoman conquest was 1453). I can't comment much on how sensitive portrayals of other outsider groups were, but the Jewish craft, the ...

Subsidiaries: A Guide To Pentex
by Sensible C.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 05/27/2019 19:27:49
Subsidiaries: A Guide To Pentex Subsidiaries: A Guide to Pentex covers the top six companies under the umbrella of Pentex which include, Endron International, Magadon Incorporated, King Breweries and Distilleries, Avalon Incorporated, Tellus Enterprises, and Black Dog Game Factory. The best part about the top six is that most are innocent enough on the outside and go to great lengths to hide their activity or make themselves indispensable to the region, so there will be no nine foot tall walking death machines 80% of the time. White Wolf wants the Story Teller to ham up the "I'm an innocent pedestrian/by stander/worker" and forces the pack to use less obvious methods to solve their problems, especially against the toy company Avalon, the software company Tellus Enterprises, and the pen and paper company Black Dog Game Factory. These corps have some nasty tricks up their sleeves for any slack jawed creature of the night that thinks they're in charge of the situation, such as chemicals that affect Garou and Vampires...

The Darkness Owns: The Lupines
by olivier l.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 05/26/2019 12:35:07
The Darkness Owns: The Lupines Excellent stuff! A briliant starting concept - and an excellent execution, which shows a remakable understanding of the original Vampire - The Masquerade setting / worldview as well as of the relevant game mechanics. By de-emphasising the all-encompassing, all-devouring "crossover" aspect of the World of Darkness and focusing on the in-game perspective of VtM (as opposed to the WoD "in general"), this well thought-out variant brings us back to the original spirit of the first "storytelling game of personal horror". It is a must-read for anyone interested in running a classic Vampire The Masquerade chronicle - especially at such a low price. It would also be very interesting to apply the same concept to Mages (or would they be "sorcerers" ?) or to reverse it (re-imagining Vampires as opponents in the context of Werewolf the Apocalypse). Bravo !...

The Lodge of Tenochtitlan The Lodge of Tenochtitalan is a small book featuring a mexican lodge of Werewolves. It includes a few Bonds, a new Fetish, and a description of Huitzilopchitzi the "God" of the Lodge. To be honest, there isn't really a lot to the book. There is only two pages detailing the "Lodge" and if you take out the art its really only one page of information. That being said, the book is only priced at one dollar, and it is presented very professionally. Hat's off to the person who did the layout. The Tabletop Gaming Club believes the book is worth the dollar....

Welcome to Villa Fomoria

Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 05/23/2019 18:16:38
Welcome to Villa Fomoria Welcome to Villa Formoria is an adventure for Werewolf the Apocalypse. The adventure takes place in a small town where everyone is a formori or is being turned into one. The Tabletop Gaming club played through this adventure and enjoyed it very much. There are a few issues with grammar and such, which were probably caused by the product having been translated to English and the author not being a native English speaker. Overall, the product is well done, fun to play and we recommend it to Werewolf storytellers who want to run a short adventure that can be fit into their campaigns....
