The Fera, Gaia's lost bastions. Nearly wiped from the face of the earth in The War of Rage, they present an interesting and unique perspective in the world of Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Betrayed by the Garou, they are outsiders in a world of outsiders, forever torn between the honor of duty and the agony of a just revenge, denied.

Funded by the Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition's Kickstarter stretch goals, this anthology give us seven stories that provide a glimpse into the lives of the other shifters, as they try and uphold the charge Gaia has trusted with them.

Fear and Loathing in Malfeas, by Jason Andrew, tells the tale of a strong-willed Ajaba, and a quick-fingered Ratkin, traveling to the heart of darkness, Malfeas itself, to retrieve something almost lost.

Way of Endings, by Bill Bridges, brings us down the rabbit hole, as we follow a Qualmi into the den of a sleeping giant.

The Sins of Sharks, by Matthew McFarland, reminds us, with the cold logic of the Rokeia, that in the World of Darkness, everyone pays their due, everyone.

In Threads of Steel and Glass, Andrew Peregrine teaches a valuable lesson, the cities are not owned by the vampires, something far older, and wiser, spins it's web where The Weaver is strong.

Aaron Rosenburg give us, Walking a Tightrope, the impressive adventure of a Kitsune, as she balances her duty to the hengeyokai Beast Courts, against a daring raid into a Wyrm-ridden power plant.

In Secretkeeper, by Ree Soesbee, we're treated to a shining example Mnesis in action, and a poignant reminder that we all keep secrets, and sometimes those secrets hurt the ones we love, but more often, they hurt ourselves.

Eddy Webb brings us, A Nuwisha Walks Into A Bar. The final venture of, 'Trixter, Inc.', in which an all or nothing raid on a Magadon lab results in, not only a victory for Gaia, but a victory for the heart.

A must have book for any Werewolf: The Apocalypse fan, and a must read, for anyone interested in a deeper look at the Fera.
