The new attribute is an interesting addition to the mechanics of the clan. In addition the book provides new merits, flaws and disciplines. The book also gathers the various sub bloodlines of gargoyles into one book, and introduces several new sub bloodlines that we found exciting to explore. In addition the books provides stats for numerous prominent gargoyles.

The book also goes into a detailed history of the gargoyle line, which helped fill in a lot of gaps from the original histories.

The layout of the book is quite well done, and the lack of art isn't to noticeable. Its a quality work that should be a staple of all storyteller's libraries.
