This is one of the coolest games I've ever had the pleasure of running. The game is a surprisingly effective mixture of Anime ("You will die for dishonouring my family!") and old fashioned epics ("And then, Achilles hefted a great rock, such as no ten men could lift as men are now, but hefted it easily."), with several doses of White Wolf's dark, moody, oversexed style ("she was wearing a black corset made of HUMAN SOULS"). The line director (Grabowski) pulls the whole strange mix together by tying it to real world moral, mythological, and historical concerns.
Probably the coolest aspect of Exalted is its ability to inspires your own creativity. Post almost any question about Exalted on a webforum, and you'll get 100 different cool suggestions from ordinairy fans. Doesn't have to be a good question - I've seen rules questions generate great plot seeds.
On the downside, you will have rules questions. The core mechanic is very inappropriate to the game, and battles can often be pretty slow and boring. Still, the system does what it should - it just does it slowly. But if you like rolling lots of dice, or you don't run a lot of combat; then this is a fine game. Apart from the system, its A+
