I use this literally every time I run Vampire. The condensed Discipline tables are invaluable and so easy to navigate and it's amazing how much information they are able to include without overstuffing the pages. The diablerie chart has been SO HELPFUL. Can't recommend picking this up enough.

Storyteller Resources is a 31-page book of cheat sheets, tables and quick references to the mechanics in the fifth edition of Vampire: The Masquerade (also known as V5). As its title implies, it's a resource book made specifically to help Storytellers prepare and run their own games of V5, from one-shot sessions to full-length chronicles, as smoothly as possible.

The book begins with a tabletop RPG consent checklist you can use to list any and all sensitive themes in your game (e.g. violence, sex, discrimination, etc.) and note which themes your players will be comfortable and/or uncomfortable with. For example, some players will be used to explicit violence and death but will be opposed to torture and/or sexual assault which is understandable. This checklist is useful to establish everyone's boundaries and make sure that your game doesn't deeply upset and/or offend your players.

The rest of the book features a checklist for player character creation and quick references to character Backgrounds, clan Banes and Compulsions, blood Resonances, Predator Types, Discipline powers, Blood Sorcery rituals, Oblivion ceremonies, loresheets and bloodlines. All of this can be useful to look up the rules of certain mechanics without having to refer to a certain sourcebook.

Finally, this book also contains a couple of sheets to track your player characters' stats (e.g. Health, Willpower, Hunger, Humanity, etc.) and relationships as well as their coterie's domain stats (e.g. Chasse, Lien, Portillon, etc.), haven stats (e.g. dots and Backgrounds) and Chronicle Tenets. This can be helpful to make sure that you're paying attention to your players' characters and their actions.

Personally, I'm very grateful for this book to have been made, especially in a printable format, because it helps Storytellers of all levels of experience keep up-to-date with the rules of V5 and the stats of your players' characters. Furthermore, I think this book is reasonably sized with each category of mechanics (e.g. physical combat, social combat, etc.) being written on one page.

My only complaint is that some of the pages (e.g. the consent checklist, the tracking sheets, etc.) were edited in landscape format, meaning that you have to tilt your head sideways by 90 degrees just to read it on a computer screen. Thankfully, you can get around this problem by printing out these pages, turning them sideways and filling them in at your own pleasure. Still, it would've been nice if the non-printer friendly version of this book was formatted consistently.

This is an indispensable quick reference for anyone looking to run V5. It has almost everything mechanical you might need to check on the fly, helping to streamline your games through the crunch so you can stay focused on the action and horror driving your story and characters. Spend less time skimming through pages and more time guzzling blood! 5/5, this book has your back at the table.

Using it to make two current V5 characters for some one-shots and it makes it so much easier to do look ups. Normally I have the page numbers memorized in the V5 Core Book, but only just that book is memorized. This is a great resource! I plan on using it for the con games I will probably end up running at some point.

Very helpful. I'm a new ST with new players and it is so nice not to have to remember where everyone's powers are and ctrl f to find rules. Helped us make our rolls and move on with the story. The only things I could think to add are the cost tables for character improvement and adding rituals to quick reference. Though there may be too many of those and it might bloat the source beyond what they wanted.

Edit: they updated the guide with lists of rituals, ceremonies, and references to the loresheets. It really adds a lot to be able to find everything so fast.

This is an amazing resource that deserves a spot in every Storyteller's library. The only criticism I can think of is that, at the time of this review, while they do have a comprehensive list of the Disciplines and the powers they do not have such a list of the blood sorcery rituals or oblivion ceremonies. That however is truly minor compared to all that is here.

As someone who is decidedly unorganized when it comes to running games, the ST Resources by Gehenna Gaming and Ken is going to be a used at every V5 oneshot and chronicle I run from here on out. Perfect compilation of all the info you would need at a drop of a hat and looks good at the same time.

If you are a V5 Storyteller this is a really handy set of docs that outlines the core rules of the book, (the V5 core book is not the best for presenting rules information concisely). Also this can easily be printed and made into a great ST screen.

This set of resources is amazing. It collects everything that you need in an easy-to-navigate format. The V5 book layout can be hectic and it can be time consuming around the table to find what you are looking for--but with this book of resources it's super simple. My favorite part is the inclusion of dice pools for discipline powers. They are all laid out for you without having to go hunting through the disciplines section of the corebook!

Great storyteller AND PLAYER resources. Very legible and the layout is top notch!

The most perfect & clean storyteller resources I have ever seen. Wiah I had that compilation on my first day as a v5 Storyteller.

What a perfect set of references and tools for the V5 Storyteller! As a first time Storyteller, and first time user of the v5 System this has been great. I was able to print out things like the Physical Combat and Social Combat page and share them at the table with my players. It helped us so much. I have been making great use of this product since then to prepare for my next session. All the materials presented within these pdfs are perfect for the would-be Storyteller. The pages include:

• Backgrounds
• Physical Combat
• Social Combat
• Banes & Compulsions
• Frenzy & Compulsions
• Temperaments, Resonances & Predator Types
• Diablerie
• Disciplines

Each of these sections provide simple to understand references and page numbers to the rule(s) books. The printer friendly option helps when you want a b/w version in your hands "at the table". My only complaints about this product, and they are minor, minor things, are the Printer Friendly one is not 100% b/w. Pages 8, 9 and 11 are cool blues/grays. And there are no bookmarks in either pdfs. Simple bm's in the table of contents would be great. Otherwise, a highly recommended product for Storytellers!

This title is exactly what it says it is, resources for Storytellers for Vampire:The Masquerade 5th edition. There's a lot of useful tools, quick references, etc. to have make running the game a little easier. The list of where to find discipline powers is really helpful since with the nature of how they were released in V5 they are spread out over a half dozen or so sources.
