Excellent supplement that fills in a ton of the gaps left by the lackluster treatment blood sorcery gets in 2e. Its full of new and updated from 1e Cruac and Theban rites as well as merits/devotions/equipment, I consider this essential if you're going to be using any kind of blood sorcery. It's well balanced and very high quality, this could have easily been an official VtR book.

If you liked the Rites of Damnation treatment that expands blood sorcery into something more like Mage: The Awakening, this book is not primarily focused on that but has plenty of asides that clears things up on how to incorporate the contents of this book into that kind of sorcery.

Don't skip this if you're looking for blood sorcery.

Desecrated Rites brings tons of new material for Blood Sorcery in Vampire the Requiem. The book provides options for using blood sorcery including new merits and devotions. There is a ton of new rituals for Cruac and Theban Sorcery along with new forms of Blood Sorcery including Infernal, Fae and Techomancy.

The Tabletop Gaming club used a sampling of these new rituals and soceries in our Requiem game. We found most of the material balanced and enjoyable to use. Though a few like Infernal Sorcery, might be better if limited to NPCs. We recommend this product.
