The Secret Frequency Files is collection of four legends fleshed out with story hooks attached for each. Each of the Legends explored is a great plot hook for any Chronicle of Darkness campaign.

The Tabletop Gaming Club playtested with each of the story hooks and really enjoyed them all. Though we would have to say the one focusing on the Isle of Wight captivated our players the most. We recommend this to all storytellers of chronicles of darkness.

The Secret Frequency has long been my favourite part of the Darker Days Radio podcast, so a supplement dedicated to these plot hooks is very welcome. The book provides some fascinating little hooks and elements drawing upon real-world esoterica and folklore. Each section does a good job in introducing the initial lore before going on to explore how to bring them into your games. Some of them are definitely stronger than others, with the chapter on Black Dogs in particular being one i found interesting with lots of potential (though I will admit to a long time fascination with black dog lore in any case). All in all, a good place to start when looking for something new to introduce to your chronicle.

Interesting plot hooks and ideas for inculsion in any World of Darkness setting. Only half way through reading it but loving the writing so far. Looking forward to more from Darker Days Publishing.

I am running a game, set in 1348 London. When I saw that this release included Devil Dogs, it piqued my interest, as I have included a couple based on legends I knew. Low-and-behold...the very references are included, and the concept around them is excellent, and presented well. I have now read the entire 37 page fount of knowledge, and I must say, if you want an example of how to present materials for a Storyteller...this is it. Straight forward descriptions to get your wheels turning. I rounded out my C'n Annwn model, and I see an Isle of Wight side venture coming very soon in my players future.

This book is increadbly useful for any Storyteller for the CoD. The antagonists within this book are flavorful and will be sure to horrify your players.
