I found the guide excellent in broadening the available options and showcasing some of the areas innovative custom NPCs could reach. My only complaint, trite as it is, is that there isn't more - a companion covering demons, and perhaps a gods in the vein of the antagonist books with an eye to providing mentors or allies, would be excellent.
