Clanbook: Ghiberti does a great job for what it is, an expansion on a minor family within the larger Giovanni Clan. It gives you enough information to play a memeber of the family without over doing it with minor details that don't help you get a feel for what they are about. The book does a good job at presnting the family origin's and history, motivations, and how they interact with other clans and legacies in modern nights. If you are a fan of the Giovanni and want to learn more of one of the lesser known families, this book is a good purchase for that.
The scope of the book (and the family as a whole for that matter) is limited. Geographical limitations of the family makes this a bit of a niche product, and there isn't really a compelling reason to include the family in a chronicle that takes place outside of Western Africa. That is perfectly acceptable mind you, but if you are looking for something that can be inserted into any VtM story, this probably isn't the best book for you.
