An excellent resource and a worthy addition to the Translation Guide series. It covers all of Ascension's greatest hits and how to bring them over to Awakening, as well as how to arrange the reverse. Granted, it's all pretty basic information, considering how many idiosyncratic nuggets of awesome hide in each game line, but it includes all the necessary information for the reader to make any further translations on their own. It didn't cover everything I would have liked, but since that would have been the entirety of both game lines I can't hold that against the developers.

Once again, Onyx Path knocks it out of the park. Intriguing characters with a unique perspective, compelling story hooks, well-thought-out storytelling advice...this book has it all. Looks like the White Wolf Crew has another hit on their hands!

Wow. Just...wow. It's like a chronicler's guide on steroids! So many optional systems, powers, story ideas...This is just incredible. I especially liked the alternate covenant ideas and the adaptation of the Tier system first put out in Hunter; that opened up some intriguing new avenues for gameplay. If books like this were made for the other lines, I'd gladly buy them all.

I absolutely love these Translation Guides! Being able to bridge two great ages of gaming is extremely enjoyable, especially with the 20th Anniversary CWoD books coming out. I admit to being a little put out that the Masquerade Disciplines were converted without being scaled to Requiem's relative power level, but overall I am extremely satisfied.

I've always loved these period books! The writers really make you feel like you're there. My only complaint is that these books are only ever done for one gameline at a time, and I think it might be better if they were written as a part of the World of Darkness "Blue Book" line, with rules for all the various creature-types from the other lines.

A wonderful book that provides insight on how to make 'Left-Handed' characters compelling antagonists or dark-protagonists of a chronicle. The only fault I could find was the name-dropping of certain Legacies without providing the standard Legacy write-ups, but I undertsand that when it comes to word-count certain tough decisions need to be made. Overall, this a great product, but I would definately pay more for a supplement that fleshed out these mentioned Legacies.
