Dinosaurs Live Alongside Us!

Tribebook Corax-Rapax is two books in one!  The first part, Tribebook: Corax, reimagines the were-ravens to make them the true heirs of the dinosaur legacy.  Modern science tells us that the dinosaurs never fully went extinct.  Instead, they live on in the form of birds.  What does this mean for the humble Corax of the Savage Age?  It certainly means they deserve a lot more respect than they have historically recieved from the other Fera!  And of course this complicats their relationship with the powerful Mokole (who also claim connection to the dinosaurs).

The second part of the book is Tribebook: Rapax.  The Rapax lived 65+ million years ago and were co-rulers of the Mokole'-led Eternal Kingdom.  They were the dinosaur Fera, and their machinations led to the abrupt and apocalyptic conclusion of the greatest Fera civilization to ever exist.  Tribebook: Rapax provides you the background and stories to introduce elements of the real were-dinosaurs to your chronicle.

Inside Tribebook: Corax-Rapax is a sandbox of options for you to deepen your roleplaying expirience with the Corax.  Not only are there many, many new mechanics connecting the Corax to dinosaurs, but there is also a full writeup of the Corax in the Savage Age.

The Corax are no longer simply messengers.  In the Savage Age they are so very much more!

Giving the Birds Their Due

While this book is primarily written as a supplement for Weaponized Ink's Werewolf: the Savage Age, the background and mechanics are designed to be flexible enough to add defition and deepen the story for Fera characters in a Modern Nights chronicle.  Of course, there are rules for playing a Rapax character in the Eternal Kingdom, the Broken World, the Savage Age, as well as Modern Nights.

Tribebook Corax-Rapax Features:

  • The background and rules to a rapax character - both dinosaurid and avian,
  • Material to deepen Corax character options,
  • Lots of new original art!
  • New rules!  New totems, concepts, trinkets, gifts, rites, backgrounds, and more,
  • Everything in this book is ALSO useful in a Modern Nights game,
  • Advice for playing Corax characters,
  • Hooks to bring dinosaur-connected mechanics into Savage Age play,
  • A quick primer on the paleobiology of dinosaurs to facilitiate play.

Another Innovative Look into Werewolf: the Apocalypse's History Through the Savage Age!

Note: This product is made for Werewolf: The Savage Age and Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition, but is largely compatable with all previous editions.

Another outstanding book for the Savage Age line. The sheer depth given to the Corax alone is enough for the price of admission. Beautifully written and illustrated, the team behind this book shows why they are the standard for the Storyteller Vault. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
