V5: Bloodlines Unbound Volume 2: The Tal'mahe'Ra

ADD TO WISHLIST >

For thousands of years, the Tal’mahe’Ra held the same course. Protect the enigmatic Aralu. Infiltrate the leadership of other sects. Stay steady at the helm. Then the Beckoning and Gehenna War upended everything, and left the Tal’mahe’Ra floundering.

Bloodlines Unbound 2 includes 10 bloodline loresheets designed to bring the secretive Tal'mahe'Ra into your games, ready to face the tumult of modern nights as PCs or SPCs. You'll also find a condensed history of the Black Hand as well as a full set of discipline powers for these unique vampires.

The bloodlines included in the latest entry in the Bloodlines Unbound series are:

Children of Zillah: a bloodline of Malkavian seers who receive their prophecies by drinking the tears of Zillah, childe of Caine.
The Fenrir: a stable bloodline of Abominations, held together by ancient rituals.
Maeghar: a bloodline of fae-kin thought lost to time, who found survival in Enoch.
The Mubadhir: a bloodline of Ashirra Ventrue, sent to infiltrate the Tal’mahe’Ra. It did not go as planned.
Old Clan Tzimisce: a group who hold true to the immutable virtues of hospitality and dominion, and scorn the “new” invention of Vicissitude.
Fugerad: bred and trained as a family of Tzimisce retainers, but they found freedom and the Tal’mahe’Ra instead.
The Lost: an ancient bloodline of Banu Haqim, who worship the Weeping Stone—whom they believe is Zillah, childe of Caine.
Tlacique: a Ministry bloodline indigenous to Central America, betrayed by all—including their clan—and making a new home in the Tal’mahe’Ra.
True Brujah: a bloodline of philosopher kings, claiming no kinship to the rabble progeny of Troile.
The Watchers of Enoch: these vampires remake themselves in service to the Aralu, denouncing all ties of sect or clan.

Bloodlines Unbound 2 is the second installment of the series that began with Bloodlines Unbound - currently an Electrum bestseller!

This was a leap of faith purchase because I'm such a fan of the True Hand Tal'mahe'Ra and like other products in storyteller's vault covering the subject, I was dissapointed. Lackluster, brief and utterly disappointing synopsis of the sect and the True Hand bloodline was made a Lore Sheet as were other less well known bloodlines. Some of the Loresheets were interesting but not worth this. Sorry.

As an ST who loved the first volume enough that I make a point of adding its Bloodlines in my game whenever I can, and also as a fan of the Tal'mahe'Ra, this book is a blessing!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
