This is the tale of a forgotten age before the seas were bent, when the world was flat and floated atop a sea of chaos. This is the tale of a decadent empire raised up on the bones of the fallen Golden Age, whose splendor it faintly echoed but could not match. This is a tale of primal frontiers, of the restless dead, of jeweled cities ruled openly by spirits in defiance of Heaven’s law. This is a tale of glorious heroes blessed by the gods, and of their passions and the wars they waged in the final era of legends.

This is your tale. This is Exalted. What legends will they tell of your deeds?

The Exalted 3rd Edition Storyteller's Screen includes a collection of charts and other information design for quick reference to make the Storyteller's job a little easier.

A downgrade from its 2nd ed version. A few bright spots, but simply not worth the purchases. I regret buying this product, and If you are a ST that wants a screen that helps you where It counts, I would recommend that you make your own. The art is not even original or that interesting.

EDIT: I know this belongs in the review, but I can't post there until tomorrow. I could not contain my dissapointment that long. I love the game, but no real thought has gone into this product.

I'm confused as I just bought this. Pg. 194 of the core book states that on the bonus turn granted during an Initiative Shift you can only attack the person who you Shifted Against. The Storyteller screen says you cannot attack the person you shifted against. I would assume that the book trumps the screen but that is a pretty gross oversight on this product to misstate a core mechanic.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
