Gods, Monsters & Familiar Strangers

We live in a world full of gods and monsters: spirits, creatures, Paradox entities, Avatar aspects, vampires, beast-folk, godheads, primordial legends, and other creatures too strange for the average mind to conceive.

Now, in an age ruled by fear, the ability to look beyond out preconceptions – especially in the world of Mage – becomes a vital tool for survival.

Who Lives Behind a Stranger’s Eyes?

This compendium of companions, divinities and beasts presents dozens of characters and creatures for your World of Darkness sagas. From Big Owl’s brood to the literal heavens, this collection of Gods & Monsters includes:

  • Human characters and templates
  • Vampires, werebeasts, ghosts, ghouls, hunters, and the Fae
  • HIT Marks, artificial people, familiars, companions, Avatars, and gods
  • Creation rules, Traits, and Special Advantages for non-mage companion characters
  • …and far, far more

We Are Strangers to Each Other Often Gods & Monsters, Too...

Technocracy ReloadedTechnocracy Reloaded

Welcome to the Future

As the third decade of the 21st century dawns, the Technocratic Union stands on the cutting edge of a future imperiled. As science and technology draw humanity closer than ever before, certain factions within the Masses display gross negligence, undermining the Union’s work and endangering the world for shortsighted gains. Despite global telecommunications, new frontiers in virtually every field of study, and an understanding of the universe only dreamed of by earlier generations, humanity faces threats on all sides.

Can You Save It?

Climate change threatens to destroy life as we know it. Religious fundamentalism breeds terror around the globe. Diseases, once eradicated in the developed world through vaccination, have returned due to antivaxxer movements. Totalitarian, nationalist governments rise as the Masses succumb to fear of the other. The world stands on the brink of destruction, and it is up to the agents and operatives of the Technocratic Union to save it…or be its ultimate destruction.

Excuse me but I can't find this information anywhere
What's the difference between the standard color book edition and the Premium color book edition?

Thanks.

Does this book contain actual information on the setting? Like the cosmology, umbra, Spirits, etc...? Or is it literally just nothing but example entities to put into a chronicle? I've been hoping for an updated modern Book of Worlds.

The print copy has the number IV on the spine. Which supplement is/will be number III?

The M20 Art Book was III. Yeah, it's not a systems book but that's the answer Satyros left on a Facebook thread asking this question.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
