Ever wonder what the future would be like if Pentex took over the world? Then look no further! Down here in Utopia (a nuclear fallout shelter), we have millions of people, and they all want a piece of the Wyrm...and you!

Utopia: the Living Nightmare is a Chicago-sized city completely funded by Pentex and miles below the Earth's surface. One-in-ten people are a fomor, and the other nine wish they could be. Factories continue to pollute, people keep killing each other, and the government always has a price. It's a dark window into the future of Gaia, and once you hop in, you can never leave!

-New creation rules for fomori with a trait called Contamination.
-A long description and history about a city practically no one knows exists.
-4 new Mockery Breeds!
-A new type of warrior created with an insectile parasite.

Use this book for your Werewolf campaigns, or perhaps take the plunge and run a fomori campaign. Remember, no one escapes Utopia. No one.

This is a good resource. It would be much better if it included a map of the city instead of just descriptions.

Hello! I was updating the book with a minor change to the character sheet, but the website seems to have had an issue. I resubmitted the book, so you should now be able to see a download link. If the problem persists, please let me know. Thank you.

Please, tell me more about this interesting world:
- is the setting stand alone? Like really a post-nuclear underground sandbox?
- are there hints and hooks for using Utopia in an existing chronicle or in a stand alone chronicle?
- thinking of chapter six: is presented a roster of factions with their relationship map or is a list of isolated NPCs?
- is meant to be compatible with other splatbooks? (not really important, just curiosity)
Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry, and as for the answers:
1. It is designed to be stand-alone, but it is also part of the Werewolf universe and functions as a thematic tool to use for that genre.
2. There are a few potential plotlines that would bring in other chronicles, such as the Founders.
3. The CEO's and the Board of Directors are very connected, but all the others are mostly character personality templates.
4. All of the different types of fomori go by the Classic WOD rules, so they are compatible. However, the Contamination trait is specifically for Utopia alone to represent the prevailing Wyrm energies that corrupt even those without evil and despair in their spirits.

I hope that answers your questions.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
